Hello friends. Let us know the reason behind people being called as South Paw. We must have seen many people using their left hand to eat, write or play cricket. But most of the world’s population is right handed. Left -handed persons form a meager population of the world. It happens due to the brain. The left side of the brain controls the right side of the body and the right side of the brain controls the left side of the body. In most people the left side of the brain is well developed making the right hand stronger than the left hand. But in some cases the right side of the brain is well developed resulting in a left -handed person. Experts say that the reason goes back to the ancient times when the wars were fought, the right- handed person would fight with the weapon in the right hand and the left hand was used to protect the left side of the body. Whereas a left-handed person would do it vice versa and get their heart wounded and die. During such times the right handed persons had a better rate of survival since their heart was protected and lived long on earth.
